Stitching Me Softly - Get Crafting!
We love a Bristol based brand at Frankly as its more important now that ever before to support those local independent businesses you love! Stitching Me Softly is a crochet and craft kit business, started by Emma Bassey following the birth of her third child. She began by making and designing children and baby clothes for her own children, as she found the option weren't available on the high street. She became inspired by what her children needed and she felt her creativity to make and design inspired other people and so Stitching Me Softly was born! Today they are one of the leading craft kit brands, stocked in many stores in both Bristol and the South West. At Frankly, we couldn't be prouder to stock such a mindful and ethical brand and we know that they'll make the perfect for your loved one - or even to treat yourself, there are so many easy step-by step products available to help get you started!
"I am drawn to simple geometric shapes and contrasting colour pallets, and this theme is reflected in my crochet designs".

Founders Ollie & James began Swole Panda, after learning about sustainability and where are products and resources actually come from. Swole Panda began with an aim to produce the best quality products with as little waste and impact on the environment as possible. They're products are not only of amazingly robust quality but they look amazing and for the short while we've had they're products in store, we have had so many of our lovely customers asking about the brand and products. Swole Panda are about to move into their fourth year of trade and are bigger now than ever before. We think so many of their products would make an amazing gift - that we guarantee no one else will think of! Their ethos is to be 100% transparent about the products they make and where they come from, and we couldn't admire this more, with all their amazing products being made from recycled plastics or bamboo!
"We are well on our way to achieving that goal with over 2000 five star reviews and 400 stockists raving about the quality, comfort and sustainability on our range of products".

"As a Broadcaster Journalist and Reporter for nearly 20 years I had seen and reported on all that is good in the world but all that is awful too. At times it was overwhelming and frustrating as it was impossible to help every individual or charity I had encountered. Making soap for the vulnerable was the perfect combination of my creativity, heritage and giving back - it was a lightbulb moment."
Sarwat Jaleel - Founder of Kushboo

Pencils and other materials are given out for free to those who need it the most. Evan believes that these small acts can be the make a huge change and we stand with him and are so proud at Frankly to support such an amazing cause.
