For Art Star Founder Jo Hill, it all started with a box of old Christmas decorations and some broken fairy lights. Not much of a cause for celebration! As a graphic designer Jo knew that had to be better way of bring colour and pattern into people's homes whilst being sustainable, affordable and ethical. It was from here that Art Star was born.
Jo created sustainable hanging stars that are printed just down the road from Jo in London to minimise the carbon footprint and support local businesses. All paper used to create the stars is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council, meaning all wood used is responsibly sourced, socially beneficial and environmentally conscious. The packaging used is minimal and 100% recyclable too!
10% of Art Star's profits are donated to the Independent Food Aid Network who support and connect a range of independent frontline food aid organisations. IFAN also advocate on behalf of these organisations at a national level. Every star purchase you make helps to support these amazing organisations.
